The Oversight Committee, chaired by the Speaker of the Senate, is responsible for supervising the conduct of SGA officers and other officials. It makes sure they are acting in accordance with the SGA governing documents and rules.
The committee has the exclusive authority to bring an SGA official up for impeachment if they are believed to have violated the SGA constitution or other governing documents.
**Membership in the Oversight Committee requires appointment by the Speaker and approval by Senate.**

The Election Committee, chaired by the Secretary, is responsible for administering all elections that occur within the SGA.
The Election Committee additionally organizes the Presidential and Vice-Presidential debates, and any events that relates to elections at the committee's discretion.
**Membership in the Election Committee requires appointment by the Secretary and approval by the Senate.**
