Governing Documents

The SGA's governing documents guide everything we do. From our structure and election processes to how our meetings run and how the SAF should be allocated, everything that is the SGA is in our governing documents: The Constitution, the Bylaws, and the Addendums

The Constitution

The Constitution is the SGA's overarching rule. Requiring student body approval to change, it offers a general view of how the SGA will be run.

The Bylaws

The Bylaws are the specific rule on the SGA, specifying every detail. These are what are used in our day-to-day functions.

The Addendums

The Addendums are a part of the Bylaws, but are specific sections that are seperated to be easier to read and find the rules on particular categories like budget or elections.

What are the addendums?

Addendum A - SGA Board of Advisors

This addendum establishes the Board of Advisors of the SGA. "The Board of Advisors shall be comprised of SGA alumni whose backgrounds reflect a range of strengths, including institutional knowledge, personal impact, visionary leadership, and a commitment to mentorship.” (Article 1)
