Founded in 1913, the SGA has been a pivotal part of the Stevens Institute of Technology. The SGA has evolved over time, changing committees and encompassing our growing population to meet the needs of our university.

Over the years, the Student Government Association has gone through several changes which include changes to the governmental structure and constitutional changes, but the mission has always stayed the same.

The current administration (2026-27) is purely focused on championing the voice of the student body, connecting the campus, and cutting bureaucratic processes to ensure an optimal student experience.
