What is the Government and Community Relations Committee?

The Government and Community Relations Committee (Gov&Comms) serves as a bridge between the student body and external entities such as local, federal, and state governments. The committee's purpose is to foster increased civic engagement of the student body.

Current Initiatives

Hoboken City Council Member Forum

Students are given the opportunity to connect with local leaders and voice their concerns and ideas about local issues.

Public Lecture Series

This lecture series features Stevens professors that invites students and Hoboken residents to learn something new.

PRV 101 - Civic Engagement

Establishing a new section in the PRV 101 curriculum on voter registration and community engagement, in collaboration with the Academic Affairs Committee

A one-stop shop for finding community service opportunities in the city that is available to all undergraduate students on Ducklink!
