The SGA is comprised of two bodies: the Executive Branch and the Legislative Branch
The Cabinet, or the executive branch, is led by the SGA President and includes the Vice President of Operations, Student Interests, Academic Affairs, Communications, Relations, and Finance. Their purpose is to advocate for and promote the student body to administrators and bodies external to the SGA.
The Senate, or the legislative branch, is made up of Senators who represent the student body. Their purpose is to vote on behalf of the student body, raise concerns from the student body, and work on initiatives.
Members of the Legislative Branch also support the duties of Cabinet officials, holding the title of Assistant Vice President. Senators also serve as chairs of their respective committees within the organization.
