Alpha Phi is a sisterhood of outstanding women supporting one another in lifelong achievement. The International sisterhood of Alpha Phi has 170+ collegiate campuses and more than 200,000 members. Sisters share a commitment to excellence and a strong desire to help one another and their communities. Alpha Phis are leaders, scholars, contributors and lifetime members of a sisterhood that values these traits. Alpha Phi assists college women in making informed choices to reach their highest potential. Alpha Phi enhances and promotes each member's development and learning by focusing on sisterhood, service, scholarship, leadership, loyalty and character development.

Alpha Sigma Phi was founded at Yale University in 1845 to unite the standards and principles that three young freshmen sought to preserve through brotherhood.

Through its history, the brothers of Alpha Sigma Phi have followed the 5 virtues of the Fraternity: Silence, Charity, Purity, Honor, and Patriotism. Through the virtues, the Fraternity is able to accomplish the goal "to better the man".
The open motto of Alpha Sigma Phi is translated as: "The cause is hidden, the results well-known."

Stevens Institute of Technology is home to the Alpha Tau chapter of Alpha Sigma Phi, which was originally founded in 1926 as the Gamma chapter of Alpha Kappa Pi. The Alpha Tau chapter started 20 years later after Alpha Kappa Pi's merged with Alpha Sigma Phi in 1946.

The Alpha Tau chapter currently has 36 brothers and continues thrive and grow because of the dedication and teamwork of the brotherhood. The ideals and values of Alpha Sigma Phi have been, and continue to be applied at the Alpha Tau chapter.

A Lodger is, first and foremost, a gentleman. This cardinal rule provides a guideline for Brothers’ every day lives and the way the Alpha is run. Mutual respect creates a unique and extremely strong brotherhood. Brothers are expected to carry their gentlemanly lifestyle into the world outside and beyond college. Maintaining such high standards of self is not easy, and as such, Chi Psi is very selective about who is invited into the brotherhood.

The Mission of Nu Alpha Phi Fraternity, Inc. is to promote Asian Awareness and to serve as a liaison between the Greek Community and the Asian Community. As well as to emphasize Brotherhood and the promotion of self-development for all of its members as encouraged by our seven (7) Fundamental Principles.

Our fraternity strives to work with various other Asian Greek organizations in an effort to bring unity and recognition to the Asian-American community. Internally, the fraternity emphasizes brotherhood and promotion of self-development for all of its members, as encouraged by its seven fundamental principles of Brotherhood, Discipline, Leadership, Pride, Professionalism, Service, and Unity. Members are taught to use these principles in everyday life to promote personal growth. These ideals are brought upon prospective members, as well. Additionally, the fraternity promotes brotherhood through events such as alumni networking, job banks, sports competitions, and road trips. The fraternity actively seeks to integrate its members into the local community through social events, on-campus performances, and participation in various cultural organizations.

About Us

OPBSI was created by our 17 founders with the desire to fight against and educate our communities about the injustices faced by womxn in our society. The Alpha Class at Stevens sought to bring OPBSI to campus because they wanted an organization that valued womxn empowerment, academic excellence, professionalism, diversity/cultural awareness, and service.

Our herstory has roots in Hispanic/Latinx culture, but we welcome womxn of all cultures into our sisterhood - our Founders represent 10 diverse ethnicities. The Beta Upsilon Chapter at Stevens has a total of 29 Sisters, including our alumnae Sisters, and we represent 17 different ethnicities ranging from Latinx, Middle Eastern, Asian, to European. We were established at Stevens as a Collective of OPBSI, and officially received our charter and chapter letters, Beta Upsilon, on January 13, 2018.

Phi Sigma Kappa is a fraternity founded on March 15, 1873 at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. The Iota Chapter of Phi Sigma Kappa was founded in 1899 at Stevens Institute of Technology. The foundation of our fraternity is built on the principles of Brotherhood, Scholarship, and Character.

We are a lifelong brotherhood dedicated to the betterment of the individual, the university community and our world by giving its brothers opportunities to develop leadership skills, participate in service to others, achieve academic excellence, experience cultural diversity and practice personal integrity.

Sigma Delta Tau is a sisterhood, a support system, an opportunity to serve, a career connection, and so much more. You will find Sig Delts all over campus and the community with smiles on our faces. We pride ourselves on being a unique community of individuals with a wide variety of interests and involvements who connect over our shared values of individuality, connection, engagement, and community.

We support three philanthropic organizations nationally: Prevent Child Abuse America, Jewish Women International, and the SDT Foundation. Locally, our chapter raises money and volunteers for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

Sigma Psi Zeta (SYZ) is a progressive, multicultural Greek organization that provides a means to success and support for womxn, particularly womxn of color.

The sorority builds on the unity of strong and independent leaders to affect change in our organization, our members, our universities, and local communities.

We are a cultural, social, educational, and community service oriented sorority.

Sigma Psi Zeta was founded on March 23, 1994.

The Alpha Rho Charter was established on April 20, 2019.

We are one of the founding members of NAPA and one of the largest historic APIDA Greek organizations. With 38 chapters/charters from coast-to-coast, we are also the fastest growing NAPA organization.

We believe syzterhood is NOT a mold for womxn to fit into. Our differences are what enhance and enrich our syzterhood. We believe in a strong commitment to both our members and the local communities around us. As such, we encourage members to give back to the communities both on and off campus with many connections and opportunities to do so. On a national level, the National Executive Board is committed to the development of its members through a variety of programs and services that inspire and encourage to "LEAD FROM THE FRONT!"

Sigma Psi Zeta also has a ZERO TOLERANCE HAZING POLICY. We maintain strong relationships with the Greek administration on our campuses. We do not degrade or mentally, emotionally, or physically abuse our members. We give our newest members the same respect that we as strong womxn demand. Hazing goes against the goals and beliefs of the sisterhood of Sigma Psi Zeta.

The mission of Theta Phi Alpha is to create close comradeship, to advance educational, social, and philanthropic interests, and to foster leadership training. The sisters of Theta Phi encourage personal development, adherence to the highest moral standards, and promotion of the lifelong bonds of friendship.

Our sisters aim to create a welcoming and encouraging community of women who strive for excellence in all areas of collegiate life. Many of our sisters are involved in other organizations on campus as athletes, peer leaders and resident assistants, members of the student government association, and every organization in between.

Be sure to stop by any of our Social, Philanthropic, or Fundraising events on campus! In the fall we host Bowling for Boobies and in the spring we host the FSL Family Feud. Our Thrift Store, Crepe Night, and Cones for a Cause happen in both the Fall and the Spring.
