Parents and families are warmly invited to reconnect with their students on Saturday, October 18, 2025, during Stevens Family Day—a cherished annual tradition.
Spend quality time together, explore a variety of Stevens programs, and create lasting memories as a family. Enjoy a full day of interactive sessions, open houses, and entertaining activities designed to showcase our vibrant campus life and provide fun for the whole family.

You're first stop is Family Day check-in at the UCC Lobby! Have your QR code ready, get your wristband, and free swag. Your wristband gives you access to all events! Ordered Wicked or Food Tour tickets? Be sure to pick those up at check-in before 3 pm.

Stop by the UCC courtyard to paint your own pumpkin (limit one per family) with the Living-Learning Communities (LLC), and also get information about the Ducks by Design program, the student-led initiative to start your own LLC. Since the 18th century, the founding Stevens family has helped pave the way as New Jersey’s first family of inventors and engineers.

Quantum theory is now over 100 years old, but it is still full of mysteries. Research on improving our understanding of quantum theory has recently led to the development of new applications -- such as quantum computing and quantum cryptography. In this talk, Dr. Igor Pikovski, Geoffrey S. Inman Junior Professor of Physics, will give a brief overview of what it is that makes quantum theory unique, and how these features enable future quantum technologies.

Quiet quitting has become a phenomenon in uncertain times, whereby individuals experience a diminished perception of control over their environment. Join Dr. Hervé and Dr. Oh as they discuss their research on how reduced perceptions of control may trigger quiet quitting, where employees intentionally refrain from tasks beyond their job requirements. They will discuss how initiatives aimed at restoring workers’ sense of agency at work might reduce quiet quitting behaviors.

Members outperform the campus average academically and dedicate thousands of hours to service and philanthropy each year. (TICKETS REQUIRED) Led by expert guides from Streetwise Tours, this event will take guests from campus to the historic Greenwich Village neighborhood via the PATH train. From 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, attendees will explore the area’s rich history and culture while sampling some of New York City’s iconic culinary favorites.
Cost: $65 per person. Please note: PATH train fare is not included and must be purchased separately. To reserve your spot, simply log back into DuckLink and purchase your ticket.
