Hoboken is a vibrant city with waterfront charm, historic architecture, and a lively community. Nearby Places include Jersey City, Union City, and Weehawken. With the stunning New York City skyline as your backdrop, you’ll never tire of the view!
While Hoboken is a safe and welcoming place, always stay aware of your surroundings. Enjoy local nightlife, while being mindful of your environment. Avoid being distracted by your phone and headphones and keep valuables safely stored at home, including your passport and other documents. Remember, Stevens Police are here to keep you safe on campus, and local police are just a 911 call away for off-campus assistance. The Stevens Rave Guardian App connects you directly to Stevens Campus Police, turning any cell phone into a personalized protection network. Don't hesitate to reach out—they're always here to help.

Transport Tips: Navigating Hoboken and Beyond
Path Service: The PATH station is your gateway to both New Jersey and New York City. It’s perfect for weekend NYC explorations. Light Rail: Connects neighborhoods within Jersey City. You can easily Grab a ticket on your phone. Bus: Buses are a favorite among students, for their cost-effectiveness and convenience. Ferry: The ferry offers breathtaking views of the Hudson River. Treat yourself occasionally to a scenic ride.
Stevens Shuttle:Last but certainly not least, our very own Stevens Shuttle is here to make your life easier. It runs throughout Hoboken, picking you up from various points and dropping you off at campus. It’s exclusively for Stevens students and the best part? It’s absolutely FREE!
Use any of the other transport options to reach a Shuttle pickup point in Hoboken, and let the Shuttle do the rest. It’s a convenient and cost-effective way to get around.

American Dream Mall: If this isn’t enough take a direct bus from Hoboken to the American Dream Mall, the second-largest mall in the US.
