Welcome to your first stop on your journey to Stevens. This newsletter provides a range of resources to help you feel supported and prepared while you are staying at the Sheraton Lincoln Harbor Hotel. Below you will find dining nearby within walking distance, laundry options, transportation, and Graduate Student Life check-in hours.
 

Dining Near the Sheraton


The hotel offers on-site dining at Beneci’s Restaurant, as well as a grab-n-go station in the lobby for quick snacks and drinks. If you’re looking to explore, there are also plenty of restaurants within a 10-minute walk. Below is a list of nearby dining options to help you get started: 
Beneci’s—A casual Italian restaurant located inside the Sheraton Lincoln Harbor Hotel with breakfast, brunch, and dinner options. 
Whole Foods Market—A full-service grocery store with a hot bar, fresh meals, snacks, and outdoor seating. This is located at 1400 Waterfront Terrace and is a 2-minute walk from the Sheraton Lincoln Harbor Hotel.
Blu on the Hudson—An upscale spot offering American cuisine, sushi, and seafood with beautiful NYC skyline views. This is located at 1200 Harbor Boulevard and is a 3-minute walk from the Sheraton Lincoln Harbor Hotel.
Chart House—A waterfront steak and seafood restaurant with panoramic views of Manhattan, ideal for sunset dinners. This is located at 1700 Harbor Boulevard and is a 4-minute walk from the Sheraton Lincoln Harbor Hotel.
Drift Restaurant & Bar—A stylish American restaurant with coastal-inspired dishes and a relaxed, upscale setting. This is located at 500 Avenue at Port Imperial and is a 4-minute walk from the Sheraton Lincoln Harbor Hotel.
Molos—A two-story Greek and Mediterranean seafood restaurant with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Hudson. This is located at 1 Pershing Road and is a 4-minute walk from the Sheraton Lincoln Harbor Hotel.
Ruth’s Chris Steak House—An upscale American steakhouse known for its sizzling plates and elegant ambiance. This is located at 1000 Harbor Boulevard and is a 5-minute walk from the Sheraton Lincoln Harbor Hotel.
Boogie Woogie Bagel Boys—A local favorite for bagels, sandwiches, and breakfast bites. This is located at 1202 Harbor Boulevard and is a 4-minute walk from the Sheraton Lincoln Harbor Hotel.
CVS—Pharmacy and convenience store with toiletries, snacks, and basic necessities. This is located at 1200 Harbor Boulevard and is 3-minute walk from the Sheraton Lincoln Harbor Hotel.
Michael’s Pizza & Wings—Casual spot for pizza, wings, and quick bites in a no-fuss setting. This is located at 1206 Harbor Boulevard and is a 4-minute walk from the Sheraton Lincoln Harbor Hotel.
Hi-So Thai—Cozy Thai eatery offering traditional dishes like pad thai and green curry. This is located at 1200 Harbor Boulevard and is a 3-minute walk from the Sheraton Lincoln Harbor Hotel.
Weehawken Pizza—Neighborhood pizza joint offering slices, pies, and Italian comfort food. This is located at 1125 Maxwell Lane and is a 5-minute walk from the Sheraton Lincoln Harbor Hotel. 

 
 

Transportation Near the Sheraton

There are several convenient transportation options located just steps from the Sheraton Lincoln Harbor Hotel. Whether you're heading to campus, exploring Hoboken, or making your way into New York City, you'll have access to buses, light rail, ferries, and more, all within walking distance. Use this guide to navigate your way with ease. 
NJ Transit Bus—Bus 126 from Willow Avenue at 19th Street (about a 6-minute walk from the hotel) goes to Washington Street near Stevens. The travel time to campus is approximately 8 minutes. 
Walking—The walk from the Sheraton to Stevens is approximately 1 mile and takes about 20 to 25 minutes. The route is mostly along River Road and Willow Avenue and is pedestrian-friendly.
Hudson-Bergen Light Rail— The Lincoln Harbor Station is about 6 miniutes walking from the Sheraton. 
NY Waterway Ferry- Lincoln Harbor—The terminal location is a 6 minute walk from the hotel, the ferries run every 20 minutes. The ferry will take you into NYC. 
 

Laundry Options During Your Stay

The Sheraton Lincoln Harbor Hotel offers a valet dry cleaning service available to guests for an additional cost. A form with more details will be provided in your room if you’d like to use this service. If you prefer to do your own laundry, there are several laundromats located nearby where you can wash and dry your clothes. Some of the facilities listed below also offer laundry pickup and delivery services, so you can have your laundry returned right to the hotel for added convenience.
Harbor Cleaners—This is located at 1200 Harbor Boulevard, Weehawken, NJ 07086 and is a 2-minute walk from the Sheraton. Dry-cleaning and valet laundry service; delivery available.
Corner Laundromat— This is located at Maple Street, Weehawken, NJ 07086 and is a 5-minute walk from the Sheraton. Self-service washers and dryers
Union City Laundry Express— This is located at 3411 Park Avenue, Union City, NJ 07087. It is approximately 5 minutes by bus from the Sheraton. Self-service facility with drop-off and delivery options.
Laundry Express— This is located at 3411 Park Avenue, Union City, NJ 07087. It's approximately 5 minutes by bus from the Sheraton. Self-service and drop-off laundry
Familia Laundromat— This is located at 2008 Bergenline Avenue, Union City, NJ 07087. Additionally, it is approximately 6 minutes by bus from the Sheraton. Self-service and drop-off laundry.
 




 

 

Meet Us in the Lobby

Settling into a new place can feel overwhelming, but you’re not alone. Once or twice a week, a staff member from the Office of Graduate Student Life will be hanging out in the Sheraton lobby from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM to connect, chat, and offer support. Whether you have questions, need help navigating your transition, or just want to play a quick game, we’re here for you. Look for someone in a Stevens shirt and stop by to say hello!
