APIDA Heritage Month celebrates the vibrant cultures, enduring traditions, and profound contributions of Asian, Pacific Islander, and Desi Americans — a expansive and diverse umbrella encompassing communities with roots across East Asia, Southeast Asia, South Asia, Central Asia, and the Pacific Islands. Throughout the month, all are invited to explore the rich diversity of APIDA experiences through events honoring the art, food, music, storytelling, and activism that define these communities.

Kick off APIDA Heritage Month with a night of bold and hilarious stand-up comedy! Join us for an unforgettable evening celebrating Asian, Pacific Islander, and Desi American voices through the universal language of laughter.

Ali Mehedi, Software Engineer by day and comedian by night, brings a uniquely global perspective to the stage. A three-citizenship-holding, five-city-living immigrant and regular at Broadway Comedy Club and The Greenwich Village Comedy Club, Ali's comedy transcends borders, culture, and language.

Yoshiko Watson opens the night with her sharp wit and undeniable stage presence.
