We invite the community to come together to honor our shared histories, contributions, and lived experiences. Come for performances, speeches, food, and good times! This gathering marks the beginning of a month dedicated to learning, dialogue, joy, and collective care, grounded in the understanding that Black history is not confined to the past, but present on our campus and in our lives today. All are welcome and invited!

Celebrate Black and natural hair at Let’s Talk Hair! Join us for an interactive Black History Month event featuring custom hair oil making, giveaways, and conversation centered on care, identity, and pride.

Inspired by the vision of Beloved Community shared by Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and bell hooks’ reimagining, these facilitated dinner dialogues bring students, staff, faculty, and alumni together for conversation rooted in care, justice, and collective responsibility. Join us for a shared meal and meaningful dialogue grounded in radical love as we renew our commitment to creating a community of belonging.

Our Night of Royalty Closing Gala marks the end of Black History Month with an evening dedicated to honoring the brilliance, resilience, and leadership of Black communities. This gala invites students, staff, faculty, and alumni to celebrate with one another as we reflect on the legacy we inherit and the future we continue to shape. This evening recognizes that royalty is not defined by titles, but by presence, purpose, and community.
