Details

Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service is a federal holiday designated by Congress as a national day of service – a “day on, not a day off.” This year, the Stevens community will honor Dr. King's legacy with a full Week of Service, from January 27-31 2025, allowing students, faculty, staff, and alumni to engage more deeply in service and reflection. Throughout the week, various speakers will discuss the importance of taking nonviolent action toward achieving equality, justice, and change for all, and volunteers will have expanded opportunities to work with local organizations.

This 4th annual event aims to be Stevens' largest community service initiative yet. We encourage all students, faculty, staff, and alumni to join in celebrating Dr. King’s lasting impact through action and service.
