Dragon Boat Festival is a traditional Chinese holiday celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth month of the lunar calendar, typically falling in June. The festival is renowned for its association with dragon boat races, where elaborately decorated boats compete in a vibrant display of teamwork and athleticism.
One of the festival's key customs is the consumption of zongzi, pyramid-shaped glutinous rice dumplings wrapped in bamboo leaves. These delicious treats are often filled with various ingredients and symbolize the offerings made to appease the dragon deity.
