Still We Rise is a safe space grounded in resilience and rising in unity. It creates a meaningful environment for its members, aiding in their social, mental, and professional development. This space focuses on celebrating and highlighting Black women and femmes, but is not limited nor exclusive to those groups. Founded by students, this initiative is supported by the Black Student Union, National Society of Black Engineers and the Office of Student Culture and Belonging. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Mia Vellon is a graduate of Stevens Institute of Technology and the founder of Iridescent Money, a financial coaching practice dedicated to helping young professionals build confidence and clarity around their finances.
After losing both her parents as a teen, Mia became an independent student and learned how to navigate money on her own. That experience shaped her passion for financial literacy and long-term investing. Through intentional saving and investing strategies, she is now on track for early retirement and is committed to helping others build wealth.

All are welcome to join Menstrual Equity and Kit Making on Tuesday, March 3 from 5-6 p.m. in the UCC Student Commons (2nd Floor). Help make menstrual hygiene kits to donate to local organizations supporting women in need. All are welcome.
