Mission The Gear & Triangle Society is an honorary society founded on the principles of Honor, Fellowship and Spirit. These are essential qualities of the true Stevens student and the successful engineer. The Society was organized in May 1919 by seven undergraduates of the class of 1921. The first meeting was held on May 2, 1919. The purpose of Gear & Triangle is to unite those of the leaders in college affairs, that they may act as a unit for the welfare of their college, and by precept and example influence the characters of their fellow students in such a manner as to graduate into the engineering, science, and business professions high grade citizens as well as top flight engineers, scientists, and business-people.
