About Us
The Stevens Student Chapter of AIChE exists as the medium that brings together all those Stevens students pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering. Members are extended special privileges, opportunities, and access to research papers and other scientific databases. Within the chapter, Stevens AIChE tries to strengthen the bond between undergraduates, those pursuing Masters Degrees and PhDs, and professors. It also serves as a bridge to Student Chapters at other Institutions and Universities. Students can gain even more from our professional organization by presenting research at conferences, participatinng in Chem-E-Car competitions at conferences, attending lectures given by distinguished speakers, or going to one of our events such as Slime Time and Networking Night! The Stevens Chapter embraces the ideals of the National American Institute of Chemical Engineers: - Excellence in engineering education - Advancing the development and exchange of relevant knowledge - Upholding and advancing the profession's standards, ethics and diversity
